Dear Musical Bees Parents,

We are in the final stretches of our marching band season. The next four Tuesday and Thursday rehearsals are THE most important for us as a team oriented ensemble. Please assist in making sure our band kiddos are there physically and mentally.

There is a lot of important information below. Please look it over!!

  • 12th Period Band Class – 1:41 – 2:22 – FULL BAND
  • 2:30 – 3:15 – Alto Saxes
  • 3:15 – 4:00 – Clarinets

Tuesday 10/14

  • 12th Period Band Class – 1:41 – 2:22 – FULL BAND 
  • After School – 2:40 – 5:00 – Percussion, Brass, and Woodwinds
  • Percussion Only – 5:00 – 6:00
  • Guard Only – 6:00 – 9:00 

Wednesday 10/15

🍕 DINE TO DONATE FOR OCTOBER 15th

This month we are partnering with Gionino’s. We’ve partnered with them before. They are fantastic as they give back 10% of all sales all day. CAN YOU SPREAD THE WORD TO THE COMMUNITY TO EAT AT HERE THIS WEDNESDAY? Especially since we get 10% of all sales!!!

We are only $2500 away from our goal!!!!That is great news!!!!

Please help by spreading the word. If you have any ideas for that final push, please make it happen!! Would your business make a donation? Did we ask our friends? Sending a link with your kids picture on it can go a long way!!

No section or individual winners unless we meet our goal by our State Finals Performance!!

Place your orders now, and then you will get an email when your items are ready. You can collect your order from Sportsworld just south of The Square.

The items from the last sale will be distributed to the students later this week.

🥧 PRE-ORDER PIES – HOSTING OMEA STATE FINALS ON SATURDAY NOVEMBER 1st

We are excited to be able to take pre-orders from Musical Bee Families for our delicious pies sold at the OMEA Finals on Saturday, Nov. 1st.

🖼️ SENIOR PARENTS – IMMEDIATE ACTION NEEDED

It’s almost Band Banquet time…we have a tradition of showing photos of their time in the Medina Band Program during the recognition ceremony.  It’s not required, but if you’d like to participate, send us a 4 to 5 photos of their time in the band program (or band related).  They will be assembled into a photo collage to be displayed on the PAC screens when their name is called.  We suggest no more than 5 as that makes for a busy collage and it’s only displayed for a short time.  After the banquet, the collage will be emailed to as another token of our Thanks for being part of band.

Who: Seniors

What: Send 4 to 5 photos of time in band (or related)…if you send more we reserve the right to choose which 5 to use

P.S. Another tradition is that all Seniors will receive a discount code in the collage return email to order a copy of the Marching Season Video Package for FREE if they choose to.FINALLY

Help Us Send Off the Bees to State Finals! 🐝🎺

As we prepare for OMEA State Marching Band Finals, we’re continuing the tradition of treat bags for our 210 band members to enjoy on the big day! We’re asking for donations of nut-free snacks and drinks—bulk or multi-packs are especially appreciated. Students can drop items in the blue bin near the Band Office by Tuesday, October 22.

We’ll also need volunteers to help assemble the bags on Thursday, October 24 at 6:30 PM at the PAC. If you can help, please email: daniecehfr@gmail.com

Then on Finals Day, October 25, help us send off the band in style! 🎉 Bring posters, pom-poms, and cheers to Medina Square as the buses roll out at 2:45 PM, traveling down Rt. 3 and South Court St. Let’s show our community spirit and give these incredible students the celebration they deserve!
