Hello everyone,
It has been quite an eventful 72 hours! Congratulations to the members of our Musical Beesfor carrying on a tradition that began back in 2002. Twenty-three consecutive years of earning a Superior Rating at the State Marching Band Finals. A true Tradition of Excellencecarried on by generation after generation of Musical Bees.
Also, thank you all for the kind messages and well wishes. It was certainly not how I expected to spend my day off, but I’m on the mend. Please be patient as I get caught up. Thank you!

Saturday 11/1 – HOSTING STATE FINALS
We’ll be hosting 27 of the top bands from across Ohio for State Finals, celebrating their season of hard work. This is a huge honor and a chance to showcase our band program, school, and community. Plus, it’s a fundraiser that helps with our MBPA expenses and helps keep participation costs manageable for everyone.
We need volunteers to help make this event a success! A LOT OF VOLUNTEERS!!! Some slots are open to students (marked accordingly), so you can sign up together. Please note that some roles—like bus parking—are reserved for adults only.
Ask everyone and anyone to help out!! Ask your father’s brother’s nephew’s cousin’s former roommate. (those who know, know)

12:00 pm – Students Only Arrive
1:00 pm – Parents begin to arrive in the PAC
1:30 PM – Awards in the PAC begins.

This was our best donation and packing year yet for State Finals treat bags!
Thanks to your generosity, we were able to completely stuff 220 extra-large brown bags with awesome snacks and a few sweet treats. The marchers truly appreciate these bags, both for the energy they provide and for satisfying their sweet tooth!
A HUGE thank-you to the rock-star volunteer team that showed up to help pack. We knocked out the entire job in just two hours!
We couldn’t do this without you. Thank you for supporting our marchers and helping make the State Finals extra special!
